We lose Founder Member Gordon Taylor

It is with great sadness that we hear that that one of the Wheelers founder members, Gordon Taylor, had passed away at 2.30am on 31st May. Gordon was 82 and died of bladder cancer.

Many members will remember that Gordon WAS the Club, holding every position on the Committee including Club President, and was also multiple club champion.

Gordon was very well known throughout the Midlands cycling fraternity having managed Williams Cycles in Cheltenham for many years until his retirement.

A Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Gordon Thomas Taylor was held at All Saints Parish Church of Evesham on Tuesday 10th June.
